Chemical-Resistant Big Blade Scraper
Move more glue with every pass.
The Brothers Chemical Big Blade is a chemical-resistant scraper blade made for vinyl removal, adhesive cleanup, decal removal, and other jobs where small disposable plastic razor blades do not cover enough area.
Small orange plastic razor blades are useful for detail work, but they have limited surface area. When you are removing a large amount of softened vinyl-wrap adhesive or glue, the Big Blade helps you cover more area per pass so you can scrape and push adhesive away more efficiently.
Built for adhesive removal
- Wide blade surface helps remove more softened adhesive in fewer passes
- Chemical-resistant construction for use alongside Brothers Chemical adhesive-removal products
- A practical upgrade from small disposable plastic razor blades for larger glue-removal jobs
- Useful for vinyl-wrap adhesive, decal residue, tape residue, and other softened glue
- Can be used with the Brothers Chemical E.Z. Grip Scraper/Squeegee Handle by Lidco
- Can be modified to fit a standard 4-inch paint-scraper handle
Use it with the E.Z. Grip Handle
For a comfortable handheld setup, pair the Big Blade with the Brothers Chemical E.Z. Grip Scraper/Squeegee Handle by Lidco. It gives you a controlled, comfortable way to scrape softened adhesive from larger areas.

Best way to use the Big Blade
- Apply your preferred Brothers Chemical adhesive remover to the glue or adhesive residue.
- Allow the adhesive to soften before scraping.
- Hold the Big Blade at a low angle and use steady pressure to push and scrape away softened glue.
- Wipe the surface and blade clean as needed, then repeat.
Pro tip: Let the chemical do the work first. The Big Blade is designed to remove softened adhesive efficiently. Avoid excessive pressure or trying to dig into dry adhesive.
Surface-use note
Always test in an inconspicuous area first. Use a shallow blade angle and appropriate pressure, especially on painted, coated, plastic, or otherwise sensitive surfaces. Results can vary based on the substrate, adhesive type, temperature, chemical used, dwell time, and technique.
